August 22, 1945

Grandma and Grandpa ate dinner with us last Thursday at OG. It was in thanksgiving celebration of 65 years of marriage. Grandma said the fact that they pray together daily makes divorce next to impossible. Can you imagine who you would be, or IF you would be if they had not married and welcomed Dad as their 4th child? (Of course he had to marry me too, as he didn't think he wanted children until he met me and each of you. Now he does want you in case you've ever wondered.)

I pray for wisdom for each of us to make decisions based on principles that far outlive what we can see as fulfillment for today.

Looking to Fall...

Ben has started football practice. He and Lisa will study Antiquities with Veritas Press Omnibus and Gileskirk led by their father.

Kate and Lisa are finishing their chamber music camp in Bozeman. Dad, Ben and I will pick them up AND see the King Tut exhibit after church Sunday. It's the very gold from the Egyptians given to Moses. Ask Dad.

Aaron had a birthday yesterday. He's 20!!! He's also healing from his shoulder injury. Birthday steak on Saturday for all who can come!

Britta is still sweetly working two jobs, and she will post pictures when she gets home.

Laura has another three weeks of relative calm with only three jobs, but a manageable schedule.

Noel has paid off his credit!!!

Dad is coming home this weekend !!!

Mom is happy.
